| Job Description |
1. Lead in the development and testing of software features, applications and solutions. Take ownership for a project section and review project against goals to provide status reports.
2. Deliver software applications and solutions within the set schedule with high degree of quality and that are extensible and scalable.
3. Establish oneself as an expert in at least one area of specialty.
4. Advise management (and Customer/Partners from time-to-time) on technical problems and direction.
5. Write code, complete programming and debug software applications and solutions and conduct code reviews.
6. Mentor senior software engineers and software engineers.
7. Demonstrate creativity in identifying effective approaches to software and solution development process and promote opportunities for product innovation.
8. Identify product needs and potential enhancements, design, develop and implement software applications and solutions in conjunction with the Product Development Manager or designate.
9. Consider the Customer/Partner lifecycle from purchase point to implementation and usage for successful replication of results to the Customer/Partner when planning and advising on products and solutions.
10. Build and assemble prototypes of software applications and solutions as directed.
11. Write and review documentation needed for installation, usage and maintenance of applications and solutions.
12. Cultivate strong working relationships with co-workers and individual contributors who serve in a lesser organizational capacity. Actively interface with the product marketing, global services team and Customer/Partners to address issues in the field.
13. Participate in interviewing and hiring practices as directed and advised by manager and/or VP of People Innovation.
14. Retain and keep appraised of industry intelligence, changes in the market place and opportunity for current and new products relating to support software.
15. Be able and willing to travel if required. |
